To The One I Love
Berlin, July 2015
This video is an artwork that intends to reclaim the simplicity of saying to someone, that you have feelings for he/she. Is just something that you have to say regarding your thoughts, nevertheless isn’t easy most of the times. This idea is a naïve metaphor for the “artist’s message” in our contemporary and complex world of techniques and technology. Sometimes, what the artist wants to say ends up lost on the way, and people never get to know what he/she really meant.
Using very simple language and means “To The One I Love” is my way to assert that saying whatever we want to say, as artists, can be “simple” and direct. I wanted to tell you with humor, but more than that is simplicity that really matters.
Who Am I?
Berlin, October 2015
Feeling a stranger on my own body is not that strange for me. Having this feeling of non-belonging inside my skin is something difficult do deal with. But it’s an issue of the contemporary society. We want to fit in, and you try to, and you struggle and in the end if you achieve to get there you just don't recognize yourself. And that’s the moment you ask “Who am I?”
