Restricted Body
Berlin, August 2015
This artwork is a big metaphor about living in
this world. At first sight is very simple, maybe “empty” but the truthful
meaning is beyond these words and body parts not being capable of doing what
they were meant to. Everyday as human beings we feel a lot of restrictions and
forced boundaries that the “system” imposes to us. We live in a free world but
not always we are able to feel that liberty. In the end is like we are living
under a dome of control and lack of freedom to “breath”, the big analogy with
this artwork, our organs are inside our body not being able to do what they
have to.

This Is Not My Home. This Is The Room I Live In.
This is a video-projection about the shelter one finds when living in a
different country. The place meant for life concentrates itself. The epicenter
of all the feelings that appear and disappear everyday day, where the freedom
of experience whatever one needs to, emerge with no restrictions or boundaries.
I Can't Stand My Body On My Feet
Berlin, June 2015
Our
muscles say yes, our brain says no. This is the dialogue between body and mind,
the real fight between what we desire and what we get. The task to achieve the
rest we need seems faraway and painful when it should be easy and simple. We
try, we keep on trying and trying but it’s only when the profound exhaustion
comes that body and soul give up.

Please Let Me Breath
Berlin, July 2015
The torment of belonging to someone takes away all your strength, the ability of being yourself. You want to escape but you just can’t. The despair, the pain, the loneliness you feel, keep you in a dark place. And then you realize how unbelievable is the power that a person can have over another. And you get scared. And you want to runaway. And you just can’t. And then one day, without knowing how, you’re bagging to breath.
Smelting Body
Berlin, June 2015
The feeling is like we are submerged all the
time by the technology around. There is no escape. Our body is day after day
slowly smelting with the most high-tech environments, as if they were a kind of
extension of ourselves. We need this new world of technology so much as this
world needs us. The mission should be keep the boundaries alive and promote the
separation of these two worlds but the dance ritual is becoming a ritual of
two: technology and body.
Fading Through The Light
This work shows the relation of a human body in inhospitable apparel and environment. In front of the observer eyes there is a very strange reality difficult to relate to her/himself. The violence of the colors and sound can drive one back but, at the same time, the graciosity of a human body wandering around, keeps one attached and along with the projection.
The one minute repetition creates kind of a hypnoses where the viewer has, in one hand, the overwhelming and artificial experience of color and sound and in the other, the experience of being brought, by this body, to a reality that she/he recognizes.
